The DataPhysics PCA 200 is a compact, battery-powered portable contact angle goniometer designed for on-site wettability measurements directly on production lines, in cleanrooms, and in the field. It delivers accurate contact angle measurements without the need for a laboratory setting.
The DataPhysics PCA 200 brings reliable contact angle measurement out of the laboratory and into the production environment. Its compact, rugged housing — rated IP52 for dust and drip resistance — makes it suitable for use on factory floors, in cleanrooms, and in outdoor field conditions.
The built-in CMOS camera captures a clear image of the sessile droplet, which is then automatically analyzed by the integrated software to extract the contact angle on both sides of the drop. Results are displayed on the 3.5" color touchscreen within seconds and can be wirelessly transferred to a PC or quality management system via Wi-Fi.
The PCA 200 is the ideal tool for surface cleanliness validation after cleaning or plasma activation processes, adhesive bond preparation checks, and waterproofing treatment verification — anywhere that carrying a full laboratory system is impractical.
