About the QuantoLux QLX1

The QuantoLux QLX1 bridges the gap between laboratory-grade Laser-OES performance and true field portability. Unlike conventional OES instruments that require laboratory infrastructure, the QLX1 is a fully self-contained system — carrying its own power supply and internal argon supply — enabling deployment in manufacturing floors, warehouses, scrap yards, and outdoor field environments without any external utilities.

The instrument operates in two configurations: as a handheld device for direct on-sample measurement, or mounted on the included benchtop stand for higher-throughput laboratory-style analysis. This flexibility makes the QLX1 uniquely adaptable to changing operational requirements — a single instrument that replaces both a handheld PMI tool and a benchtop analyzer.

With 6–10 hours of continuous operation per charge and an intuitive touchscreen interface, the QLX1 minimizes operational complexity and maximizes uptime. Results are displayed in seconds, with automatic grade matching and wireless data transfer for full traceability.
