The DUALSCOPE® DMP 10-40 from helmut fischer represents the pinnacle of portable coating thickness measurement versatility. By combining two measurement principles — magnetic induction and eddy current — in a single handheld instrument with automatic substrate detection, it eliminates the need for multiple gauges in mixed production or field environments.
When placed on a steel substrate, the instrument automatically activates the magnetic induction mode; on non-ferrous metals, it switches to eddy current mode. This seamless auto-switching is controlled by the combination probe FMP, which contains both sensor types in one compact housing.
The color TFT touchscreen provides an intuitive user interface with real-time statistical display, batch management, and customizable measurement limits with visual pass/fail indication. Optional Bluetooth connectivity enables wireless data transfer to smartphones and tablets for immediate field reporting.
